Dr. Dennis Schuetzle is the Secretary of the California Baden-Württemberg Sister States Organization.  He is presently the Chief Technology Officer for Greyrock Energy (www.greyrock.com) at Greyrock’s international headquarters in Sacramento, California where he is focused on the international development and deployment of clean energy and fuel production technologies.  In this regard, he is helping to mitigate accelerating global climate change in collaboration with the Under2 Coalition which was established between California and Germany’s state of Baden-Württemberg in 2015, and which currently encompasses members from more than a third of the world’s economies.

In his previous role as the Director for Ford Motor Company’s International Research and Technology organization from 1993-2003, he collaborated with Baden-Württemberg’s Siemens Corporation to deploy China’s first high-speed train in Shanghai and located Ford’s first European Research Laboratory in Germany.  Prior to 1993, he collaborated with several medical institutes, schools and foundations in the U.S. and Europe to develop innovative medical diagnosis and environmental health assessment technologies such as MRI imaging.  In this regard, he will help coordinate related medical research efforts between our two States.​
